Web model Melissa Harrington, aka Melissa Midwest, has launched a contest to find the next solo girl site star.
The winner of the contest will receive a 13-month contract (valued at$100,000) for her own website, a new car, computer, video camera, and a one-year lease on a fully furnished apartment in Lincoln, Neb. Five finalists will be chosen to audition in person with Harrington and will take part in photo and video shoots, webcam shows, and interviews. The top five finalists will be paid $1,000.
The 23-year-old model has operated her site for almost three years along with the affiliate program for the site, MelissaCash.
Harrington controls all aspects of the site and program, except for hosting and billing, and says she intends to teach the winner of the contest all aspects of the adult webcam model business—everything from being in front of the camera to every element of management and site maintenance.
“I’ve been managing everything on my site for so long,” says Harrington. “The winner of the contest will learn everything from me to operate her own site.” Harrington added that the new solo-girl site would be part of Harrington’s own network.
Harrington said the type of girl she was looking for would be “really cute and naughty yet still wholesome,” and she is encouraging models of all shapes and sizes to enter the contest.
To be eligible to enter the contest, entrants must have turned 19 by Aug. 10 and live in the continental U.S.
The contest began this month and will end Feb. 1, 2007.
