LOS ANGELES—Adult star Heather Vahn has come under the mentorship of Glenn King, veteran MeanBitch Productions director and AVN Hall of Famer. Vahn is now shadowing the director and assisting him on every facet of the job behind the camera.
“I recently met Glenn King at an industry function and we hit off right away talking about different film ideas and then he offered me this amazing opportunity,” Vahn said. “Glenn has been amazing training me in all facets of directing and it’s a nice look after seven years away from the business to come back with a great job like this. My ambition is to be an award-winning director just like him.”
“I think to be a great director-cameraperson you have to have a keen ‘mind’s eye.’ In other words, you have to be able to visualize the viewer's perspective in your own mind before you try to bring it to life,” offered King. “That was my first impression when speaking to Heather about directing adult movies. She has a brilliant mind and willingness to learn—along with a keen mind’s eye. I am excited about mentoring her and seeing her develop as a femdom director.
