Max Hardcore to Hit Long Beach GP

Max Hardcore is joining thousands of racing fans at the annual Long Beach Grand Prix this weekend.

Hardcore is joined by adult performer Layla, who has already made a big impression on race-car drivers, car crew members and fans alike Friday.

“She’s the hottest girl out here and she’s loving every minute of it,” said Hardcore, who is encouraging adult fans to join him at the event starting today and through the weekend where it culminates with the race itself at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Hardcore, who has been attending the event since 1992, says this year’s race will be one of the biggest ever, with Cristiano De Matta, the 2002 Champ Car World Series champion, and rookies Dan Clarke and Antonio Pizzonia.

Among the Saturday activities is the celebrity/pro race beginning at 12:15 p.m., followed by Champ Car Qualifying at 2 p.m., the Long Beach Drifting Challenge race at 3:10 p.m. and the Grand American Rolex Series race at 4 p.m.

A rock concert sponsored by KROQ-FM begins at 5:30 p.m., featuring Bad Religion, followed at 6:30 p.m. by the Tecate Miss Grand Prix Pageant.

On Sunday, qualifying rounds begin at 9 a.m. followed at 12:15 p.m. by Champ Car pre-race activities.
