Matthew, Mark and John can rest easily in heaven knowing that Luke {Ford] was on Conway & Steckler last night fronting as an expert on the porn industry. Contrary to Ford's popular opinion, he was not deluged with phone calls from irate people in the adult business, though AVN managing editor Bryn Pryor appeared to get cut off by the show's hosts from sailing into controversial waters. Lack of interest might have been due to Ford's having to compete with reruns of WCW's Thursday Night Thunder. Full details along with Ford's libelous accusations against Goalie Entertainment's Eddie Wedelstedt in a later posting today.
"Jason Grigsby" writes: "Sorry, no glue within reach right now. [The reference was to Grigsby whiffing the bindings of Luke Ford's history book.]
"I was referring to those in the business with the 6-year-old mentality. I don't think you'd call me on the fact that many, many people who were in the business ten or fifteen years ago, are no longer around. (And, I'm not referring to talent, here.) And, I think you'll find many of the folks ranting and raving lately won't be around ten years from now. I never said there weren't many who are very astute and very successful. It just seems that those who are screaming the loudest for attention and credibility are those who deserve it the least.
Gene sez: "You keep illustrating the original point I made weeks ago in that you are not part of the business, therefore, are not qualified to argue certain points about it. You're going to tell me that people "in the business ten or fifteen years ago, are no longer around"? Sorry, beg to differ. I've been around that long, and, guess what? My graduating class is still here. Besides, it's human nature to scream for attention. It's just that everyone does it in different ways.
Luke Ford groupie "Ben Siegel" writes: "Hey, Gene, before you get on your high horse about Ford cribbing from your site on the Charlie Sheen/porn starlets dust-up, take a look at yourself, pal. What you reported on your site was itself cribbed from Richard Johnson's "Page Six" gossip column in the New York Post. You barely changed the wording. You're not exactly the only Californian who reads it, you know."
Gene sez: "Thank you for making my point, Ben, about people who can't read. If you check out my site, you'll notice I ran an interview with Charlese L'Amour, a day BEFORE the Post piece detailing all the same facts accounted for in the Post article. The only difference, being, I didn't mention Sheen by name until those facts could be corroborated through sources like the Post and the local California media. But if you had read my site, I said all of that.
By the way, Bucky, here's the Sheen lawsuit:
In this Corner, Sieman & Stramaglia vs. Charlie Sheen & Zippy
Filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, July 30, Erin Sieman and Christina Lee Stramaglia are represented by the firm of Huron, Zieve & Kierstead LLP, Los Angeles, California. The complaint is for battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and negligence.
The suit describes plaintiff Erin Sieman as a professional actress and dancer "who has been acquainted with defendant Charlie Sheen for approximately five years." According to the suit, Sieman has been an "overnight guest" of Sheen's on several occasions over the years, and, as a result, have become "intimate friends".
Stramaglia is also described as a professional actress and has been "a frequent guest" of defendant Sheen. "Plaintiffs are informed and believe thereupon allege that defendant Sheen has a criminal record and is currently on probation as a result of the commission of prior criminal offenses."
According to the suit, "Defendant Zippy or Zippi is employed by defendant Sheen as his personal bodyguard." The suit also states that Zippy has worked for Sheen for approximately two years and knows the plaintiffs and frequently speaks with them in person and over the telephone. "Plaintiffs are informed and believe and thereupon allege that defendant Zippy "also has a criminal record and that this is known to Sheen." Sieman and Stramaglia also contend that Zippy "is at all times acting in the course and scope of his employment."
The suit goes on to say that the plaintiffs are ignorant of the true names of the defendants, but the complaint will be amended when that information can be ascertained.
"Plaintiffs are informed and believe and thereupon allege that at all relevant times...each of the defendants was the agent, principal, alter ego, partner, employee or co-conspirator of each other defendant in committing the intentional and wrongful conduct alleged."
According to the suit, the plaintiffs believed that Sheen was filming in Toronto, Canada and returned to LA on or about July 26. Anticipating his return, Sheen, according to the suit, contacted Sieman and expressed an interest in seeing her. As a result, Sieman and Stramaglia took a taxi to Sheen's residence in Malibu. Upon their arrival, Sieman rang the front gate several times but nobody answered. As she had done on prior occassions, according to Sheen's alleged requests, Sieman climbed over the gate and went to the front door. She rang the bell. According to the suit, Zippy allegedly opened the door and "immediately punched" Sieman in the face "with great force, breaking her nose and cheekbone."
The suit says that Sieman fell to the ground after Zippy allegedly punched her violently in the face. The suit also alleges that Zippy kept punching and kicking Sieman while she was on the ground and yelled, 'Charlie does not want to ****see you, get the **** out of here.' Stramaglia, witnessing the events, climed the fence to Sieman's aid. Then, according to the suit, Zippy allegedly lifeted Stramaglia off the ground by her hair and threw her to the ground. "Defendant Zippy then continued to throw Ms. Stramaglia around and also kicked her."
According to the suit, Zippy then opened the gate and ran down to the taxi driver [Zurjit Lal] yelling for his identification. "Zippy grabbed the taxi driver, demanding his identification and then ripped off an identification placard from the taxi."
According to the suit, Sieman and Stramaglia got back in the taxi, and the Lal took them to Agoura where they reported "the brutal battery". According to the suit, authorities wanted the women to sign a criminal complaint against Sheen so they could arrest him. The women refused to sign the complaint out of loyalty to Sheen for "their long-time and intimate relationship with him".
According to the suit, Zippy allegedly telephoned Sieman the following morning. "He said that if she told anybody about the incident, he would ****** kill her. Defendant Zippy has since repeated to Ms. Sieman his intent to kill her if she reports or goes public with his violent attack upon her."
The suit says that neither Sieman nor Stramaglia are able to do any acting because of the injuries sustained.
The suit goes on to say that Sieman and Stramaglia believe that Zippy acted intentionally "under the wrongful and unlawful direction, orders, instruction and knowledge of his employer, defendant Sheen."
The plaintiffs said they suffered serious bodily injury, serious emotional distress and mental injury, pain, suffering and medical expenses in excess of $50,000. "In addition to actual damages, plaintiffs are entitled to recover punitive damages from defendants, according to proof, for the purpose of punishing defendants and deterring them and others from engaging in such conduct in the future."
The suit goes on to say that the conduct displayed by the defendants "was intentional, outrageous, beyond the bounds of conduct tolerated in a civilized society." As a direct result, the plaintiffs, according to the suit, also suffered severe emotional and physical distress, anxiety, headaches, humiliation, worry, mental anguish and other incidental damages and "out of pocket" expenses in a sum according to proof. As a result, Sieman and Stramaglia are entitled, according to the suit, to recover punitive damages. "Defendants failed to act as reasonably prudent and careful persons toward plaintiffs."
The suit alleges that Sheen, as employer, exercised direction and control over Zippy and that Sheen had the duty to supervise and control him and protect persons from unreasonable risks of harm and prevent unlawful and dangerous conduct. The suit also states that Sheen, aware of Zippy's alleged criminal past and "violent tendencies" should have exercised reasonable diligence. Shhen, according to the suit, failed to do that. The suit states that Sheen should have known that Zippy was "violent, dangerous, incompetent and unfit" in performing his employment duties, that the beatings and death threats were "foreseeable".
The suit asks for compensatory damages including damages for medical costs and other special and general damages according to proof on each cause of action. [There are four causes of action.] The suit also asks for general damages to compensate for pain and suffering, emotional distress and loss of enjoyment of life."
Zia F. Modabber, Sheen's lawyer, calls the suit "completely frivolous" and says it was filed out of spite after the actor took out restraining orders against the women.
"Last Thursday we had to get a restraining order because on Monday night two women jumped the security wall at Mr. Sheen's home with one of them trying to get into the house," Modabber says. Sheen's lawyer says that his client is the one who has been threatened.
After the women were turned away from the actor's home, Modabber says, they "made a series of threatening and harassing phone calls that continued even after the restraining order."
The plaintiffs' attorney, Jeffrey Huron has said that Sheen is liable because he has a responsibility to hire a bodyguard who will not lose control.
"If Sheen's bodyguard goes bonkers on his property and beats up innocent people," Huron said, "Charlie's certainly responsible."
Sheen's lawyer says his client has nothing to answer for. "Mr. Sheen and Mr. Hunt strongly deny the allegations and will vigorously defend themselves in court," he said.
Cincy Obscenity Trial Hears Sex Therapist's Testimony
According to the Cincinnati Enquiere, Dr. Judith Huffman Seifer, a licensed sex therapist testified Thursday that the three adult videos in the Butler County video store obscenity trial have scientific value. Dr. Seifer said she sometimes suggests that couples in marriage or sex counseling view sexually explicit videos together and talk about them. Dr. Seifer also said she viewed Best of Freaks, Orgymania and Sinderella She-Male, the videos in the trial of three VIP Video Store employees, and believes that each has educational value for some people.
Dr. Seifer said that by viewing a video like Orgymania, a couple could see what orgies were like without actually doing it themselves.
"It could save a number of couples from harmful sexual experimentation," she said. "But isn't it possible that some people would want to do it after watching the video?," Dan Gattermeyer, assistant prosecuting attorney, said. Dr. Seifer acknowledged that it was possible.
Gattermeyer questioned Dr. Seifer's credentials as an expert witness and tried to raise doubts about the educational and therapeutic value of the three videos. Dr. Seifer was the defense's only witness.
After closing arguments this morning, the case will go to the jury. Peter Tomaino, owner of VIP Video in Hamilton and Millville, and two store clerks, Billie J. Doan and Caroletha Geter, are charged with three counts of pandering obscenity.
The jurors viewed Sinderella She-Male on Thursday. The video depicted explicit sex between male cross-dressers and between a man and a female. Jurors were impassive as they watched the 1 1/2-hour video, according to the Enquirer.
Before Thursday's court session, Common Pleas Judge Keith Spaeth excused a male juror because of a personal situation that arose Wednesday night.
"Innocent Images Project" Leads to 12 Charges in Cincy Kiddie Porn Case
With Pete Rose not in baseball's Hall of Fame, one has to wonder what's going on in Cincinnati
While a Cincinnati jury deliberates on an obscenity issue involving a she-male tape, a federal grand jury has charged a Cincinnati man, Terry A. Herzog with sending 12 sexually explicit computer images of young boys across state lines from his Springfield Township home. Herzog's indictment comes as a result of a federal kiddie porn sweep in 1995 known as the Innocent Images Project. The sting is still operational.
Grand jurors also charged Herzog with possession of files of similar pornographic computer images involving boys under age 18.
The 13-count indictment, handed up in Cincinnati on Wednesday, said most of the pictures showed boys under 18 lasciviously displaying their genitals.
Remaining images involved underage boys engaged in sexual acts, grand jurors said. A spokesman for the U.S. attorney said that Herzog, now 51, has not been arrested. Instead, he will receive a summons through attorney H. Louis Sirkin. The spokesman would not say whether the boys were Tristate residents, nor would he say how many were pictured or what their ages were.
Herzog was indicted under kiddie porn laws that have a five-year statute of limitations. Grand jurors said the pornographic images were transmitted between Aug. 10 and Oct. 23, 1994, and the files were in Herzog's possession in September 1995, when his home was searched.
The delay in prosecuting him reflected agents' difficulty finding the images in Herzog's confiscated Power MacIntosh 8100 computer, an FBI spokeswoman said. Herzog's home was one of 125 searched nationally in September 1995 as part of the FBI's continuing "Innocent Images Project."
The indictment did not indicate why Herzog became a specific target, but those familiar with the probe suggested he transmitted the images involved in the indictment "to the wrong people." Whether recipients were federal agents or kiddie porn aficionados who cooperated with prosecutors was unclear.
Other cities where 1995 raids took place included Dayton, New York City, Dallas, Miami and Newark. People who posted child pornography pictures on the America Online computer service or repeatedly copied or downloaded the pictures were among those being served with the warrants, the Justice Department said then. Pornographic evidence collected elsewhere during the raids included pictures of children, ages 2-13, who were forced to pose in real and simulated sex acts with adults, animals and other children.

Raylene Write Up
Vivid p.r. man Brian Gross clues us into a piece written for the Phoenix New Times when Raylene was in town last week for a POPsmear photo shoot with Insane Clown Posse.
Writes the Times: "So what would it be like to cab around the city with a record-company weasel, a couple of writers, a punk-rock singer, a porn-PR pro and an adult-film star [Raylene] wielding a large bong in a box?
"An irony-rich ride more fun than a pop-up Popsicle, Daddy-O. A cab ride that is a microcosm of that reductive cross of porn and pop."
[Gene interjects: "Daddy-o? The writer must have taken style lessons from James Ellroy. However, those along for the cab ride alluded to are 22-year-old Raylene; POPsmear scribe writer Frank Meyer; the senior vice president of media relations at Island records, John Vlautin; and Vivid adult-flick PR man Brian Gross.]
"If you pay attention to the glossed shows and tabloids cramming our lives, you see that porn and pop are the two new, primary cultural colors rattling our collective and desultory brain pans."
[Gene interjects: "Rolling Stone makes the same point in its August 19 issue."]
"Now that porn has rolled over into pop's mainstream wet spot," the Times goes on to say, "it has, in the process, also become yawn-inducing. For porn to stay fun, it should remain under the bed where it is safe, dark and dirty. Porn does not belong on the bookshelf or all over Rolling Stone and Entertainment Tonight. Once porn is demythologized, nothing is left but gratuitous anatomy insertions, unsightly close-ups and men who are but life support for their penises."
POPsmear was shooting its Halloween issue cover in Phoenix, featuring Raylene along with Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope, the duo that is Detroit's Insane Clown Posse.
The night's first stop, according to the article was the Headquarters, a head shop in Tempe. "Out of the haze of posters, pipes and other paraphernalia, Raylene purchases a massive plunger-shaped bong," the Times writes. "The bong comes sealed in a box that for Raylene is no fun to carry around. Raylene carries it around anyway."
Says the Times: "Raylene has a burgundy mane, dark eyes and dark skin...her dad is Eastern European and her is mother is Mexican. She can be seen in such highball porn flicks as The Bottom Dweller 5, Devil's Black Jack, Taming of the Screw, Up and Cummers 42, 69 Hours and As Sweet As They Come.
The next stop was Tempe rock venue The Green Room. "Raylene... carries herself with a puissant sexual persona. Her dressed-down looks deceive her job description. But when Raylene presses the flesh (shakes hands, that is) with curious mouth-breathers, porn fans and club girls, she is self-aware to the point of showing off. She has the kind of peripheral appeal that ensures a person success in any pop-skin trade from rock 'n' roll to modeling to porn."
Raylene, at one point, reportedly sprays on the backstage wall, "Vivid kicks ass/Watch porn/Raylene XXX0."
At Raylene's request, the enourage goes to the Dream Palace all-nude club. "Here, Raylene wants to strip and dance for the few droopy eyelids scattered and nubile young women. The club's mouthpiece says it's against the rules, something about independent contracting. Funny, when Raylene tours strip bars like this around the country, she makes $6,000 to $10,000 a week."
'I really like doing porn,' Raylene is quoted as saying. Raylene comments favorably about one of the Dream Palace dancers then gets up, sticks a $20 bill between the dancer's breasts and sits back down. The dancer teasingly removes her remaining garments. "I can make a lot of money at this," Raylene continues. "And what else would I be doing?"
Says the Times: "It's clear that for Raylene -- and many of her contemporaries -- fame and money are yardsticks by which self-worth is measured. And in porn it is not uncommon to have a career whose arc closely resembles that of a firefly. Raylene is probably near her zenith. Her picture is everywhere. It has graced the cover of New Times Los Angeles with Luke Ford. She can be seen in the current issue of Rolling Stone. She's the High Society girl. She's on radio and TV. She has fans the world over."
'I love sex,' Raylene says. 'And it's paying pretty well.'
The article describes Vivid's Gross as a onetime NAU student who wrote for the NAU student newspaper and DJ'd at the school's radio station. "Gross is a tireless sort who could sell air if he had to. He seemingly bounces off walls while taking care of Raylene."
"The NAU radio station was the most anal-retentive college radio station in the country," Gross told the Times. "While Arizona is a great state and all, it was time to head back to the coast and pursue my dreams. I hear to go back to Flagstaff now is really depressing. These strip malls and such things. After NAU, I worked on Lollapalooza, at a couple of record labels [Elektra, Warner Bros. and Reprise], and now the largest adult-entertainment company in the world. I went from working with Filter and Barenaked Ladies to Janine and Raylene. Some of the most intense beautiful girls in the world. Rock star, porn star -- one is just a lot better looking than the other."
The article goes on to describe the Insane Clown Posse photo shoot. It runs late because of faulty directions.
"When Raylene arrives, she readies herself directly in the dressing area. She applies makeup like a pro. She has with her an elaborate assembly of Halloweenesque costumes. At one point during a shoot, while waiting for the Insane guys, she has to pull off the garish cape that is causing her to sweat so profusely under the lights....When Raylene makes the flight back to L.A., the plunger-shaped bong is inadvertently left behind. That expensive piece of equipment she carried around the night before like some piece of detachable anatomy will spend the rest of the day in the dark trunk of a cab."
"Jason Grigsby" writes concerning the Gene ross comments about the Peter :Pan Syndrome in the adult industry. "Hiya Gene, Well, thanks for the acknowledgment. It does concern me a bit, however. I mean, if all the "adults" in the "adult" business are 6 years-old, doesn't that constitute a problem!
"It amazes me sometimes that these people are as successful as they are. I know sex sells, but imagine what could be done if people acted like businessmen and women and really took this business seriously. I guess that's why a lot of these people won't be around in another few years...like the others before them who just didn't have a clue."
Gene sez: "Jason, are you sniffing the binding glue from Luke Ford's history book again? Many successful businessmen and women have been in this industry for 20-25 years and more. Some people seem to have more than a clue."
Mr. Heaven Leigh Speaks Out
While Heaven Leigh's away [at the Bunny Ranch], Eric, Mr. Leigh is playing gadfly with the Heaven-Kendra controversy airing on the Internet. Eric's email the other day sparked a handful of shit. This is what he had to say at the time to precipitate a ruckus which got Kendra riled up on Luke Ford's site, then making further comments on mine:
Leigh writes: "Now as for the Moonlight Bunny Ranch. Heaven and Candy Hill are the featured porn girls for the next two weeks not Kendra Jade. Here is the hole run down on it. One if not for Heaven, Kendra would know nothing about the Ranch. At the night of the stars Heaven introduced Kendra to Dennis Hof. Kendra then said, 'Hey I can get all of us on the Stern show'. So, Dennis flew Heaven from LAX to NY on Sat and Kendra flew out of SF to NY on Sun. Well, as you reported only Kendra appeared on the show and self promoted herself. Everything Kendra said was coached to her by Heaven and Dennis because she knows nothing about the ranch that is why Heaven was to go on and talk about the ranch. It is Heaven who stress's that couples come and single girls to come to the ranch not Kendra. As for her dark hair that she was talking about wig!!! Heaven liked Kendra and she stabbed her in the back and Kendra wants to know why no one likes her in the business.
"So, I am here to tell all the readers that Heaven Leigh and Candy Hill will be the featured porn stars at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch Aug. 3rd-15th.(1-888-286-6972) Kendra Jade is just another house girl at the Ranch when she is there."
What follows is the first conversation we had with Kendra after she had been informed [or she says] that Leigh's email got posted on this website. This is the first time this particular conversation is airing.
Kendra: "He [Eric] said a lot of damaging stuff in that letter, that I'm a house girl at the Bunny Ranch. I'm a house girl? I wouldn't go there to be a house girl. You've got this guy saying ridiculous stuff."
G. Ross: "I didn't help him say it. He did it all by himself. I don't put words in peoples' mouths."
Kendra: "I'm going there for one specific purpose. This is the only time I'll be going there."
Jade was informed that a very positive piece had been written about her appearance on the Howard Stern show. She said she hadn't been aware of that. "I didn't hear anything about that," she said. "I got a whole bunch of phone calls saying Heaven Leigh said this and that. This is ridiculous. Heaven's upset because we went out to the Stern show and she didn't get on. Going to the Bunny Ranch is damaging enough, I don't need anything else."
Jade said she was supposed to leave for the Bunny Ranch Tuesday but didn't. Kendra said she wasn't going unless Heaven Leigh was out. "She will be out," Jade predicted at the time. "I told them [the Bunny Ranch], you read the site. You tell me what you think. I got the whole E! crew coming down there Thursday and Friday. The other thing I thought I was hilarious is that he [Leigh's husband] has so much to say. They're so nutty [the Leighs]. They have no idea of what they're talking about.
Leigh's husband had this to say in a follow-up phone conversation Thursday morning.
Leigh: "I want to clear a few things up about this shit that's going on. I called the Bunny Ranch and everything Kendra said was bullshit. Nobody told her that Heaven was going to be dismissed or thrown out. That never happened. The Bunny Ranch has no idea where she got that from. All they said is everyone needs to get along, be happy and make money.
"I guess Kendra Jade had called them and said Heaven had threatened Heaven on your site. I told the Bunny Ranch the only thing that was posted was the truth. Nobody said anything bad about Kendra. Then I told them to go to Luke Ford's site. Now you'll see who has class and who doesn't. The only person yelling and screaming was Kendra. Heaven had nothing to do with it. I posted what was told to me by the Bunny Ranch and by Heaven about the whole ordeal. The Bunny Ranch said they went on Luke Ford's site, and what they read was all bull. Luke Ford blew this whole thing out of proportion. The bad part is that he sucked me and Heaven in one night and got us to believe a lot of crap. Mike Albo has more brains than Luke Ford on any given day.
"The thing is Heaven was called two weeks prior to the Stern show. She was told that her, Dennis [Hof] and Kendra were going to be on the show as told by Kendra. When they got there, Heaven said Howard Stern's people came to the green room. Dennis and Heaven assumed that all three were going to go on. They said, 'No, we just want Kendra.' When the show was over, Kendra came back to the green room and said, 'Where were you guys? I waited for you guys to come on.'
"On the day of the show she was still telling everybody that all three were supposed to go on. I talked to the Bunny Ranch. Number 1, I didn't kiss her ass. I jumped right in her face. She's the one doing all the ass kissing. First thing she [Kendra] said to me was that the Bunny Ranch knew that Heaven wasn't going on. She repeated that 20 times, that the Bunny Ranch knew, the Bunny Ranch, the Bunny Ranch. I talked to the people at the Bunny Ranch and no one knew what she was talking about.
"Wednesday afternoon Kendra called and we had a threeway conversation with Heaven and Suzette, Dennis' right hand. Kendra was nothing but sweet on the phone. She never said anything about kicking Heaven's ass. She kissed MY ass. She blamed the Bunny Ranch for everything. I said if that was true, that the Bunny Ranch was playing you guys, then I want to know. From where I'm sitting, I thought all three were going on. Dennis even brought some expensive cigars to give to Stern when they went on. Dennis has been on before with Sunset Thomas. I think it was that Kendra didn't even tell them [Stern] that they were there. I think it was all a put on to get Kendra a free ride to the Bunny Ranch.
"I just want to make sure that everybody knows that what wa
