MasterCard has rounded up a group of Internet, law enforcement, and academic heavies for a conference that begins today at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, to take on cyberspace's growing phishing problem and other kinds of online identity theft and payment trouble.
MasterCard executives will be joined as symposium speakers by U.S. Postal Inspection Service official Lee Heath, Wayne Abernathy of the U.S. Treasury Department, John Large of the Secret Service, and Utica College Economic Crime Institute chief Dr. Gary Gordon, among others.
