Mary Carey next week will co-host the nationally syndicated Mancow morning radio show from Chicago.
Mancow is broadcast daily from 4:30 to 9:30 a.m. on KLAC (570 AM) in the Los Angeles area. Carey first went on the broadcast live on Jan. 24, and since then has been invited back four times. The Legend Video contract performer will be the first porn star to co-host an FM radio show as she takes to the airwaves this coming Monday through Friday.
Carey told AVN.com that she aspires to one day host her own radio show.
“This will give me good experience,” she said. “I have to be there at 4:30 in the morning and stay until 10:30 and I have to go to all their production meetings. I’m excited. I like to talk almost as much as I like having sex."
The starlet, who is feature dancing in Columbia, S.C., today and Saturday, said she would also host a party with the Mancow “Morning Madhouse” crew in Chicago next Friday night.
In addition to her five in-studio appearances thus far, Carey has done phone interviews on the show over a dozen times. During recent in-studio visits, she said she got to ask on-air questions to several celebrities who called, including Steve Young, Chuck Liddell and Gene Simmons. She also got some airtime on “America’s Most Wanted” because a film crew was there shooting the Mancow show one day.
“Part of the reason they want me to host is I think they want to have sex with me,” Carey said. “But I’m also entertaining.”
Meanwhile, Carey revealed her new campaign slogan for her upcoming run for governor of California: “Finally a politician you want to be screwed by.”
