Mary Carey told AVN.com she had so much fun at the Republican fundraiser hosted by President Bush in Washington Tuesday night that she may join his political party.
The Kick Ass Pictures contract star attended the event with company president Mark Kulkis, who was invited by the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC). Kulkis serves as an Honorary Chairman on the NRCC’s Business Advisory Council, a group of business people who advocate a progressive, pro-business agenda.
“I had a lot of fun last night. I loved the NRCC handler they kept around me at all times,” she said. “The first couple events I went to he was just standing around me to make sure I didn’t take pictures with members of Congress.”
Carey said there were two other security officials stationed near her during the fundraiser who were supposed to keep her from doing anything out of the ordinary, such as attempting to approach President Bush at an inopportune time.
“They would have tackled me,” she said. “… President Bush is good-looking. He’s hot. They kept me far away from him. {The tables} were like six rows deep, and we were second to the end, and he was in the middle.”
Carey, who plans to run for lieutenant governor of California as an Independent next year on the heels of a high-profile run for governor in 2003, said she also enjoyed her luncheon with Karl Rove, Bush’s senior political advisor.
“Karl Rove was great. He said a lot of things I really like,” Carey said. “I think what the adult industry should do is for all the different companies to donate to the Republican party, like give a 100 thousand or two to the Republicans, and then they’d probably like us better.”
Carey, who is celebrating her 25th birthday today, said she was “kind of worried” about how she would be received at the dinner, but that “everybody was really nice.”
“At first I felt strange,” she admitted. “They were talking about all this Republican stuff and I felt like I was eavesdropping. ... By the end of night everyone was drunk and everybody wanted a picture with me."
Carey said she even fielded some offers for sex.
“I got an offer for a threesome,” said the busty star of such titles as Mary Carey Rules!, adding other guys wanted her to hook them up with her friends. “I got propositioned a lot. It was so much.”
Carey’s plans to attend the fundraiser became the subject of national media coverage in recent weeks as the Washington Post, Washington Times, Los Angeles Times, and several NBC TV stations ran the story. WorldNetDaily.com even created an opinion poll on the subject. The Associated Press today wrote about Carey’s attendance in its report.
Carey said that she and Kulkis sat at the same table with the parents of a U.S. soldier. The parents eventually got a picture of her to send to their son and Carey promised to send “a whole bunch of pornos to the troops.”
Carey also said that after being a guest on G. Gordon Liddy's nationally syndicated radio show that he asked for a password to her Website, and Carey would also be sending him some of her videos.
