Marie Osmond says she was shocked to read her teenage daughters Internet sex postings, according to the National Enquirer.
The singer-actress told the tabloid this week that she has launched a crusade to clean up the Internet after she discovered that her two teenage daughters had been posting sexually explicit messages on their MySpace.com Web sites.
Osmond spoke to the paper after it published some of the girls’ postings from their sites.
Osmond’s 18-year-old daughter Jessica, who was adopted by Osmond when she was a baby, said in her site that she is bisexual and that she craves sex “as many times as possible.” Likewise, her 16-year-old sister says in her site that she is a “slut” and a “whore” and that she dreams of having sex with David Bowie.
The performer, who is a devout Mormon, told the publication that she was “saddened by some of the choices that two of our children have made.”
She also criticized the MySpace for not policing its Web sites for such sexually explicit content.
“The insidious potential for harm from adolescent Internet sites like MySpace.com only exacerbates these kinds of problems.”
