LFP Video Group has hired industry veteran Marc Kramer as staff producer.
Kramer will oversee budgets and manage production for all videos released by LFP Video, Hustler Video and VCA Pictures.
"Marc has been a part of the adult entertainment industry for many years. He knows and understands all phases of the business — production, sales, marketing — and we think he will be a great asset to LFP Video,” remarked Larry Flynt, Hustler founder and LFP president.
Kramer has been in demand since he left Pleasure Productions as their production manager last June after almost two years there. Since that time, the seasoned producer has worked for companies such as Digital Playground, Zero Tolerance, Third Degree Films, Colossal Entertainment, Vivid, Tera Vision, Adam & Eve and CDI, producing individual shows and handling duties as production manager for others.
He said he was eager for the new challenge.
“I want to get this company back on top where it belongs,” Kramer told AVN.com.
With over six years experience, Kramer’ resume includes production credits on AVN’s Best Film of 2004, Heart of Darkness for Vivid, Reign of Tera, (a co-production with Vivid and Tera Patrick and Evan Seinfeld’s TeraVision) and the forthcoming Pirates, a co-production with Digital Playground and Adam & Eve.
Prior to going to Pleasure/Rosebud, he worked for Vivid for three-and-a-half years and eventually became an assistant director on Paul Thomas’s shoots.
“I know what needs to be done,” Kramer said. “We want to get them back at the top by building a production foundation starting out with the directors we need to keep.”
He added, “LFP Video is a great opportunity and a great company. I think it’s the future of the adult industry.”
