Developers of the MPA3 affiliate software, Mansion Productions has released an Error Prevention System (EPS) designed to increase the program’s uptime.
EPS is an advanced tracking system that analyzes the behavior of MPA3 and tries to catch errors in the surrounding environment caused by external elements such as hardware, servers, hosting, operating systems or software. Additionally, once an error is discovered, it tries to produce possible solutions to assist the company’s support staff.
“Whether it be MPA3, Executive Stats, X3 or NATS, things go wrong outside of these pieces of software. When that happens, this can actually catch it before it turns into something ugly and it can be fixed immediately,” Mansion CEO Oystein Wright told AVNOnline.com.
For lack of a better term, EPS is an advanced system monitor that increases uptime and therefore, cash flow.
“It’s specifically made to monitor join pages that don’t work,” Wright said. “For instance, instead of showing a join form, a page shows MySQL errors or just doesn’t go anywhere. If the join form is used and submitted and doesn’t go to any of the payment platforms, it will catch that as well. Anytime there is any error outside of the program on a direct link to the program, it will be caught.”
The product is free for MPA3 customers, including installation. Programs using other products can purchase EPS as a plug-in.
