Man Arrested After Sending Porn Photos of Ex-Wife

A man was sentenced to jail after breaking into his ex-wife’s e-mail account and sending out pornographic photos of her to her relatives.

Cape Girardeau resident Alfred Seals, 47, pleaded guilty last week to misdemeanor charges he hacked into his wife’s e-mail account. He was sentenced to 20 days in jail, according to the Southeast Missourian.

Prosecutors said Seals accessed his wife’s e-mail account without her consent by accessing her password. He then sent her family e-mails with a link to a Web site along with a message saying “something nice to see.”

The Web site contained a series of porn images of the woman taken by her husband when they were still married. The woman suspected Seals was the culprit and immediately alerted police on Feb. 28.

When questioned by police, Seals admitted he sent the e-mail on Feb. 25 and that he accessed his ex-wife’s account in April to examine her correspondence, according to his statement.

Due to Seals’ guilty plea, prosecutors dropped a second misdemeanor charge of tampering with computer data for illegally accessing her e-mail in April.
