MALLcom has announced the addition of free hosted galleries for all affiliates. Once a surfer clicks on the gallery link, they can view DVD titles and watch high-quality 480 x 640 video clips from that specific DVD.
The galleries add a new dimension to promoting the products in the MALLcom store. Surfers get the opportunity to view impulsive video clips, which will hopefully entice them to click through and buy that DVD. These new hosted galleries include everything imaginable to maximize the affiliate’s paycheck; from front and back DVD screen shots, a direct link to buy that DVD, telephone sales tracking, and a link to the film studios’ pages if they want to see its other DVD titles.
“We’ve found that when a surfer can see sample clips from a title they are interested in purchasing, they are much more likely to buy the DVD without hesitation,” says MALLcom CEO, Jerry Aharony. “This is just another element we’ve added for affiliates to make MALLcom the most comprehensive store solution out there.”
MALLcom has added more than 100 galleries with 20 new additions daily, from studio partners like Red Light District, 3rd Degree Films, and Acid Rain.
“When we heard MALLcom was building free hosted galleries, we knew we had to jump on the bandwagon,” says Keith O’Connor, Defiance Films’ head of production. “I’ve got my tech people compiling clips now for all the Defiance Films and Torrid Entertainment releases.”
