MTV never looked quite like this. Toronto-based adult entertainment site Maleflixxx announced today they will be pairing with the newly launched EMVChannel to offer a brand-new form of gay adult content: erotic music videos.
Combining previously shot footage with music from the likes of Rock Hard, Ram First Studio, and Skin Tunes, the videos are the brainchild of GAyVN Award-winning director Thor Stephans (Sex Psycho, Sex House on Haunted Hill), who says he had been toying with the idea since he first started directing adult videos.
“I thought it was a waste that so much great footage never made the final cut in each feature and the music was only used once,” he says in a press release. “Being a lover of music videos, I came up with the erotic music video concept, and have been working on it in the background ever since.”
Stephans says the recent boom in DVD extras and iPod content convinced him there might be a market for his idea.
“It’s a fun and visually erotic medium, but originally there was no way to showcase my idea,” he explains.
Through his Maleflixxx-owned Thor Productions, Stephans partnered with FOX Studios to integrate hardcore and softcore video footage and still images from both companies’ films into musical clips.
The EMVs will be available exclusively through the Maleflixxx.com-hosted Thor Stephans Theater.
“As Maleflixxx expands, we are continually looking for new and unique offerings to include on our network,” says Eric Johnson, president of Maleflixxx’ parent company, Sureflix Digital Distribution. “We know that [the EMVs’] unique blend of erotic imagery and music will appeal to a segment of the gay adult market.”
