Maleflixxx, a global leader in gay adult Video-on-Demand (VOD), has just announced the winners of the Maleflixxx Gold VOD Award.
The newly created award, to be presented on a yearly basis, honors movies that have achieved Top 10 status based on viewership and sales across the Maleflixxx global network during the previous calendar year.
Eric Johnson, President of Sureflix Digital Distribution, owner and operator of the Maleflixxx global network, said, "As Maleflixxx celebrates our fifth anniversary, we want to also celebrate the successes of our studio partners. Recipients of a Maleflixxx Gold VOD Award represent the best of the best in this new digital age and can be proud of their record breaking achievement."
The winners of the 2006 award are: 110º in Tucson (Titan Media); A Matter of Size 2 (Matt Sterling/ Fuel Media); Decameron: Two Naughty Tales (Lucas Kazan Productions); Going Under (Jet Set Productions); Hard As Wood (Raging Stallion Studios); Justice (Hot House Entertainment), Musclemen Moving Company, Inc. (Big Blue Productions); Parashooter (Kristen Bjorn); Trunks 2 (Hot House Entertainment); and Twin Towers: Swim Meat 2 (High Octane).
"Just as gold records are the standard by which the music industry traditionally measures success," Johnson continued, "the Maleflixxx Gold VOD Award, represents the pinnacle of success in the VOD market, as measured by viewer response. To mark this achievement each award recipient will receive a framed, glass-encased, gold wall-display."
The Maleflixxx Gold VOD Awards will be displayed and presented to the winners at the W Hotel in San Francisco tonight at 7:00 p.m. during the GAYVN Summit Welcome Party, sponsored by Maleflixxx.
GAYVN Summit is a strategic conference (February 22-24) for the gay adult entertainment industry with a specific focus on business and technology. Closing out the Summit will be the ninth annual GAYVN awards at the Castro Theatre on Saturday, February 24.
