Lynn Sues Over Alleged Use of Unauthorized Footage

Adult performer Gina Lynn along with her husband/manager Travis Knight, have filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court against three companies and an individual for allegedly using unauthorized footage.

According to court documents, Lynn and Knight hired defendant Scott Del Amo to take photos or videos of them for their own private use in 2001. But Del Amo and his companies, Cloud 9 Content and Wildonx, allegedly sold the images to defendants Metro Entertainment and Metro Interactive to create an adult series, without Lynn or her husband’s permission or compensation.

Lynn and Knight, who were not immediately available for comment, are seeking unspecified damages.

Del Amo told AVN.com, “I am quite surprised by the lawsuit. ... They have no grounds or merit to stand on.”

Metro Interactive spokesman Jeff Mullen said, “This is the first that Metro Interactive is hearing about this alleged complaint. Like other entertainment businesses, content is often bought and sold and transferred between first, second and third parties. Although officials at Metro Interactive are looking carefully into this situation, intellectual content would never knowingly be purchased or licensed by Metro without proper signed documentation. Metro Interactive will have more to say on this matter as the complete details emerge."

The works at issue are the films The Best of Tawny Roberts, Blondes Only, Blondes Only 2 and Cum Guzzlers, according to a Los Angeles-based news service.
