The Love Shack chain of adult stores in Atlanta is holding a contest to find the next porn star in that city.
The winner will receive $1,000 cash and appear in one scene in a hardcore adult video.
Plus, the lucky girl will receive an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles for three days and two nights where the video will be produced.
“We did not specify gender, so we have had about 40 guys enter the contest. Sorry guys. This contest is only for girls,” said David Oblas, director of marketing and promotions for The Love Shack adult stores.
Oblas is looking for that “the girl next door.”
“If we find out that a contestant has been in porn before, we take them out of the list,” Oblas told AVN.com.
The contest started earlier this month and will end around Valentine’s Day.
“The contest is picking up steam. So far we have about 50 entries from Atlanta girls via email. It is a great way to start," Oblas added.
The contest has been receiving lots of attention from print, radio and television media in Atlanta, he said.
Toward the end of this event, live contests will be held each week at a Love Shack adult store to eliminate girls. Eventually the winner will be picked in a format similar to "American Idol."
