For almost eight years as a hard-working actress in hundreds of sex scenes, Lola craved a production company all her own, and what Lola wanted, Lola got: Twisted Pink.
The lithe Latina slipped behind the camera last October and has been shooting ever since. She just hooked up with Addictive Entertainment for distribution, and the first Twisted Pink release, Teeny Bopper Club, with Kinzie Kenner on the cover, is scheduled for Sept. 6, right after Labor Day.
“It’s like the first day back in school,” Lola told AVN.com. “We’ve been in business since October of last year — shooting, shooting, shooting — and now I’m ready to come out to the world. I’m very excited.”
Lola entered the business in 1998 as a discovery of Randy West in Up and Cummers. “I did do a lot of stuff,” she said, “but it was always my goal to own my own company. I’ve put enough heart and soul into it that here I am now.” She stopped performing last year in order to focus on building the business.
“I still miss being talent, though,” she says, and cautions, “I’m not retired. I’m just on hiatus. As soon as everything gets settled, then I’ll be able to get back in front of the camera. Cuz I miss it!”
She saved her first on-screen anal sex until she could shoot it for herself. “Now I’m in a position to do that so that’s something I am looking forward to doing. In the very near future I will be doing my anals and my d.p.s, all that nasty naughty stuff that I saved for [my own company].”
To finance her operation she secured private backing. “I have an angel. I do all the work and he foots the bill. It’s a very small crew that I have, just three people on the set: me, my lighting guy and my camera guy. Very intimate, and we get good stuff out of the talent.”
Lola scored a coup by securing the exclusive stud services of Julian, the actor-director who suddenly went low-profile about a year ago. “He’s been in hiding with us,” Lola said. “He’s worked only for Twisted Pink, since we started.”
The well-endowed Julian is one reason Twisted Pink can boast in its ads that “Size Matters."
“Size does matter at Twisted Pink,” Lola said. “I hope the girls don’t hate me for it, but I love big dicks. It’s nice to see one on camera, and it’s nice to see one inside a girl. So, yeah, we have big boys.”
Among them is Ramon who, Lola said, “was the Big Cock for a popular website based out of Florida. He was their Monster of Cock.” Like Julian, Lola has him exclusively, and she also makes frequent use of size kings like Mandingo and Billy Glide.
Twisted Pink has eight series in eight different niches: teens (Teeny Bopper Club), big bust (Big Tit Patrol), interracial (Giants Black Meat, White Treat), facials (Big League Facials), Asian girls (Mr. Chew’s Asian Beaver), Spanish girls (Horny Spanish Flies), all ethnic (Tiny’s Black Adventures) and squirting (Beaver Squirt).
Lola has already shot two volumes of each line, which will enable Addictive to release one title a week until the end of the year. By the time of the AVN Expo in January they will double the release schedule and add some new series to the line-up, such as Big Swallow, and Teens Cum Clean, a cum-eating title. “That’s actually a really cute series,” Lola said.
Addictive Entertainment sales manager Jon Islas said, “Lola’s been in front of the camera and behind the camera for so long that putting these movies together was natural for her. We’ve got all of our releases heading into the show [AVN Expo] already shot or in post-production. She’s a monster right now.”
Lola went to Islas, whom she met when he worked for All Good Video, for distribution advice, and they struck a up deal together. He had been managing Standard Digital, which is now also distributed by Addictive Entertainment.
“I’ve known Jon for so long and I saw him build All Good and I knew how much of a go-getter he was, with such a passion for the industry. I am very blest to have him,” she said. “It’s just been a great mix. I couldn’t be happier with who I have now. I think we have a great little operation.
