They may not be the Ramones, but they are porn stars (or at least some of them are), and they're giving a concert Friday night at King King on Hollywood Blvd. whose proceeds will go to the AIM Healthcare Detox Bed Program.
“It’s gonna be a rockin’ show with tons of hot porn chicks, and it’s all for a good cause,” bandleader Kurt Lockwood told AVN.com. “We’re gonna blow the doors off that place.”
Lockwood will also be shooting the event for inclusion in his directorial debut, a documentary-style rock-’n-porn affair to be released through Sex Z Pictures.
“It’s inspired by the Decline of Western Civilization films,” he explained, “a sort of look at the blending of the rock culture with porn and sex, with big orgy scenes intercut.”
Samantha Ryan, Monica Mayhem and Suicide Girl Sita serve as Not the Ramones’ backup singers, and a bevy of other porn stars will be attending. King King is located at 6555 Hollywood Blvd., and doors open at 9 p.m., with Bad Apples taking the stage first. The admission fee is $15.
