Wednesday night’s festivities at the LiveSexAwards included an amazing dinner buffet filled with Hungarian delicacies as well as a bit of flavor from Italy, America, and even Japan. The spread closely mirrored the feel of the show itself: quite international.
The entertainment during dinner started with a truly awesome five-piece band called Sonar. The techno, psychedelic rhythms made attendees feel like lighting up a certain mood enhancer. A Hungarian dance troupe followed, combining artistic bodies in motion, ballet, and subtle eroticism that left the audience teased but pleased.
The Paycom group, TotemCash, and others found themselves at a karaoke bar on the Buda side of town where XXXJay from OCCash got up and sang his own rendition of “Free Bird” in front of a mesmerized audience. An evening out with adult webmasters would not be complete without a visit to the most popular transvestite bar in town.
I believe we closed the place down.
Thursday was day two at the LSAs, and it started off with a buffet, more networking opportunities, and a day of insight and information.
A lot of business is to be had here if you make the effort. I am very pleased with the new business found for those in The Adult Broker network.
On the heels of the networking hour, Paycom EU set up the afternoon with an extensive presentation by Rand Pate about the opportunities that await European – and American – webmasters. Cross-sells, up-sells, members’ areas, cancel pages, and email-page real estate all was covered.
The seminar discussing LiveJasmin, one of the hosts of LSAs, turned into a highly debated, energized two-way discussion between the LiveJasmin panelist team and the attendees. The hot topics were the ability to ban, as needed, cam-site chat room visitors that compromise the model’s safety or privacy. Many webmasters in attendance are from Romania, where privacy is a big issue; therefore, they wanted changes made within the business model of LiveJasmin.
It was an extremely lively debate, yet respectful throughout.
Cams are a huge business in Hungary and the rest of Europe. LSAwards is honoring that industry, the performers, and the webmasters by hosting the event and rewarding those in the industry by giving away more than $370,000.
Thursday evening’s agenda includes another scrumptious dinner buffet, a live band, and of course the announcement of the winners of all that cash.
Stay tuned for tomorrow’s wrap-up of the LSAs, the list of winners, and more. As for Hungary...“Nagyon tetszik [I like it very much]!”
