Live online video chat purveyor LiveCamNetwork.com has added a free bulletin board to its network where visitors can post pretty much whatever they want.
“Over the years, we’ve experimented with a variety of add-ons and features but have always gone back to the heart of the site – live and interactive video sex chat,” said Mark Prince, president of 2much.net, LiveCamNetwork’s parent company.
Previous incarnations of the site featured things such as image galleries and Adult shopping carts, items that weren’t particularly popular with the users.
“Really, you can't compare. On one hand you’ve got a gorgeous, witty brunette sitting there waiting for your reply, joke or whatever, and on the other there’s a bunch of still photos of people faking passion,” said Jen, LiveCamNetwork’s webmistress.
However, the bulletin board feature, which allows users to post publicly and send private messages, is expected to be a little more popular.
“It heightens the interaction. It personalizes an already intimate relationship, and it’s another form of communication between chat hostesses and their visitors,” Jen said.
The board, which is the first step of a major overhaul the site has undergone, is hosted and administrated at 2much.net and powered by the vBulletin software produced by Jelsoft Enterprises.
