LOS ANGELES—"Porn Stars Are Funny: A Comedy Sketch Show” takes the stage at The Elysian comedy club in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 1, at 9:30 p.m., bringing adult performers Cherie DeVille, Shawn Alff, Little Puck and Yhivi together with comedy writers-performers Hannah Berkowitz, Matt Barrett Miller and Clare Jackson for a one-night show.
The production pairs four first-time sketch performers with original material written by Berkowitz, Miller and Jackson, who have worked together since 2018. Berkowitz and Jackson write for HBO’s I Love LA, while Miller performs monthly with a house sketch team at Upright Citizens Brigade. The show will also stream live, allowing viewers outside Los Angeles to watch.
“This is a true ensemble, which is what makes it so exciting,” said DeVille. “Hannah, Matt and Clare wrote something for all four of us to jump into, and sharing the stage with my fellow porn performers, as well as these seasoned writers and comedians, is going to be a completely new kind of chaos. I also love that people who cannot make it to Los Angeles can still watch the show live from home.”
