Not only across “the Pond” but across hundreds of years of history lies a city that on one hand is frozen in time and on the other hand is at the forefront of the adult industry. Enter AWEmpire.com and its first Live Sex Awards show.
In the middle of Budapest, the awards show is housed at the luxurious Intercontinental Hotel near the historical parliament and castle buildings and the epicenter of hustle and bustle, which is sectioned off into a score of districts and separated by two sides of town, Buda and Pest.
AWE is host to many adult entertainment industry players from around the world, including America, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and, of course, Hungary.
Upon arrival, attendees were greeted by beautiful LSA representatives who escorted them to registration. Thereafter, room check-in was simple and easy. The festivities began with complimentary juices, martinis, champagne, and chocolates and pastry delicacies. Attendees got to network and greet each other. I chose the flavorful Hungarian champagne, and a good choice it was.
The ballroom hosted the opening gala presented by Jay, who asked us to ease our minds, open our hearts, and “be in the reality of live sex.” Attendees included main sponsor Paycom EU and representatives from companies like WebcamCash, Cybersocket, OCCash, PasswordByPhone, TheBestPorn and yours truly. All of us enjoyed watching the Hungarian presentation that included statuesque girls, techno music, light displays, and more.
The finalists for solo-girl performer of the year were presented along the catwalk during the opening gala. Each girl had her own video and personal presentation, and the audience of about 250 cheered for the solo performers of their choice.
The finalists, from LiveJasmine.com, were Ablaze, IXSWEETXI, Buffy, Habibi, Katusha, BixSWEETNESS, MichellYours, and 1AdrianeXXX.
Each of the girls won $5,000 already and now is in the running for the grand prize of $100,000 to be announced at Thursday evening’s party.
The webmasters in attendance also have the chance to win $500 or $5,000, and one lucky webmaster will win $100,000. The winners are selected based on personal interviews, and the winners will be announced Thursday evening.
Wednesday’s festivities consisted of a complimentary dinner buffet, live bands, and drinks to last through dawn.
