LFP Video Group announced this morning that the new HIS Video title, The Devil Inside, will be released on Sept. 26.
Devil, written and directed by GAYVN Hall of Fame director Jim Steel, is the first original movie to be released under LFP's gay brand HIS Video in nearly a decade.
“All of us at LFP Video are very excited about the relaunch of HIS,” said Drew Rosenfeld, LFP Video Group creative director. “HIS DVD has always offered top-shelf talent and high-quality gay content. We have stayed true to our vision with our first new release in nearly ten years with The Devil Inside. We look forward to releasing new product under the HIS DVD brand throughout the year.”
For Devil Inside, Steel said he dropped the narrative style of filmmaking in favor of a more stylized look. The result is "a passionate film with interconnecting vignettes, a boy-meets-boy carnal fantasy."
Steel said that this departure from tradition has resulted in some of his best work. “The shower scene with Antonio Madiera and Park Wiley is the hottest scene I have ever shot,” he said. “It is intensely erotic and very hardcore. The whole environment, especially the lighting and art direction, add to the overall seductive tone of the film.”
In addition to Madiera and Wiley, The Devil Inside stars Brad Benton, Ben Campezi, Jason Crew, Jean Val Jean, Mark Slade, and Marcos Pirelli.
