Lava Releasing has hired Mischa Allen as its Director of Operations.
Allen is the former Vice President of Trac Tech Video Images and publicity director for VCA.
“We have struck gold,” Lava Releasing’s Bob East said. “Mischa is the best operations person I know and someone I have always wanted to work with. In all my dealings over the years with VCA we have become friends and having her on our team will show our commitment to only quality personnel.
“When I mentioned to Betty Hampshire (wife of Russ Hampshire and former owner of VCA) my plans, she confirmed my suspicions that we would be getting the best person she knew for the job”
Allen said, “ I’m really excited to be a part of this new venture. It’s good to be back in the industry with a company that is full of energy and has a commitment to success.”
Allen will begin her new position on March 21 as Phoenix Releasing transitions to Lava.
