Larry Flynt’s new book Sex, Lies and Politics: The Naked Truth won’t be officially released until July 4, but that’s not stopping him from appearing a two Hustler Hollywood’s this week to promote the book.
On Thursday, he’ll appear at the Hustler Hollywood on Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, and the next day he’ll appear at Hustler Hollywood San Diego. Both events will begin at 7p.m.
Activists from the AIDS Healthcare Foundation intend to protest the lack of condoms in Hustler Videos outside of the Hustler Hollywood store during the signing on July 1. The protest will be the second time the nation’s largest AIDS organization will have targeted Flynt in their attempt to get adult video producers to voluntarily adopt a condom-mandatory policy.
In Sex, Lies and Politics: The Naked Truth, Flynt informers readers of his attempt to dig up dirt on President George W. Bush, in particular how he hired journalists to track down a woman who allegedly had an abortion that was paid for by Bush in the early 70’s, before abortions were illegal.
Flynt was unable to obtain concrete evidence regarding the abortion, but his search for a smoking gun gives readers much to ponder regarding the hypocritical nature not only of Bush, but Dick Cheney, John Ashcroft, and other major players in the current administration.
