Larry Flynt's Hustler Club Opens in Beverly Hills

Several hundred people packed Larry Flynt's Hustler Club Thursday night for the grand opening celebration.

The sparkling, upscale lounge on Beverly Drive offers fine dining, premium wines and champagnes, a house band and live burlesque shows.

The Hustler founder hosted a VIP party to kick off the night that was such a hot ticket that some invited guests waited over 45 minutes to get inside because the club was at capacity.

The sexy Hustler waitresses served complimentary hors-d'oeuvres and drinks, while patrons enjoyed a variety of live entertainment courtesy of Frankie's Gypsy Roses.

Jimmy Flynt, Larry's brother, flew in from Cincinnati for the occasion and told AVN.com that Thursday's event illustrated the company's progress.

"Hustler is a little bit more socially acceptable now," he said. "For us to come into Beverly Hills and set up shop and the city welcomes us and all the politicians come out and all our friends and relatives, it's a great night."

Jimmy Flynt said Hustler overcame some challenges "with respect to hours of operation and local zoning laws" to make its latest establishment a reality.

"None of them are easy. We have to fight everywhere we go, but that's part of the educational process," Flynt said.

The club is located at 424 Beverly Dr., and is open from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
