LA County Health Department Seeks Records; Threatens Regulation

The Los Angeles County Health Department is expected to subpoena records relating to the current HIV scare from the Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation (AIM) this morning, though adult industry lawyers are at hand to verify the subpoenas are enforceable.

“We have a moral and legal obligation to protect our population of patients from any type of intrusion and confusion at this point,” AIM’s executive director Sharon Mitchell told AVN.com.
