L.A.'s Sexiest Look Forward To the Finals

This past Saturday hundreds of people gathered in front the L.A.'s Sexiest stage on Venice Beach to watch contestants compete for a chance to move on to the finals to be held June 21 at the Erotic L.A. convention where they compete for their share of $20,000 in cash prizes.

In the men's competition there were a variety of professions represented, from computer engineer to male stripper. At the end of the day it was personal trainer Edmond Laurent who led the round, displaying his gymnastic dancing ability as well as the mandatory, for this competition anyway, six-pack stomach.

"The dancing's just something I used to do as kid to keep myself entertained. On the beach I used to practice flips for fun," said Laurent, who was born in the Virgin Islands.

For the women's competition there were various states of dress and experience in front of audiences from the obvious professionals such as reigning AVN Female Performer of the Year Aurora Snow, dressed in wearing a black jacket over a black bikini, to the girl-next-door looks of 18-year-old Devon. Snow and Devon are both among the finalists that will be appearing at Erotica LA.

"I really didn't think I would make it to the finals. I was worried about my clothes," said Devon, who wore blue-jeans during the event.

In the couples competition adult stars such as Voodoo and Nicole Sheridan, Teanna Kai and Sarge Logan, were joined by amateur Website porners Ira and Staci and a few civilians in moving to the finals.

Heidi Fleiss, who worked in a number of plugs for her new book Pandering, Starr 98.7 deejay Lara Scott, and comic Todd Sawyer were the judges for the event.

A new panel of celebrity judges, who were not part of the semi-finals round, will be on-hand to ask sexy provoking questions and determine who's the sexiest. L.A.'s Sexiest will be announced live, on stage at Erotica L.A. on Saturday, June 21, 2003.
