Kylie Ireland Returns to Dancing for One Week

AVN Hall of Fame performer Kylie Ireland will be making two personal appearances on the East Coast this week, including a rare dance appearance.

The Platinum X Pictures contract star and director will be doing a store signing alongside longtime friend, Shayla LaVeaux, at Pure Fantasy in Newark, Del., on Thursday.

Following the signing, Ireland will be making her first dance appearance in the U.S. in nearly two years. She and LaVeaux will be doing several solo and duo shows at the Creekside Cabaret in Colmar, Pa., on Saturday and Sunday.

Ireland emphasized that she is still officially retired from dancing.

“I love performing in movies, but I am definitely an ex-stripper,” Ireland joked. “I danced for 10 years, so I paid my dues. Plus, now that I’m directing for Jewel De’Nyle and PXP, I just don’t have the time to go out on the road.”

Asked why she’s dusting off her G-string once again, Ireland explained that the occasional unique event could lure her back.

“This is a different kind of thing,” she said. “Once a year, Pure Fantasy and Creekside Cabaret do this as a big promotion. I’m flattered to be asked to do it. The people who own the club are terrific, and I love working with Shayla. In fact, the last two times I’ve danced have been with Shayla, so she seems to be the only one who can get me back on stage.”
