LOS ANGELES – KSEXRadio hosts Wankus and Daisy are set to join Juli Ashton and Tiffany Granath July 5 on Nightcalls, the Playboy Radio satellite show heard on XM. That means the twosome will be heard on both their own KSEX slots and Playboy Radio the same night.
Several KSEX hosts and adult stars have done Nightcalls in the past – but not Wankus, until now.
"I never looked at the two companies as competition," he said announcing the Nightcalls appearance. "In fact, I don't consider anyone our competition. We do what we do. If fans like it, they come back, even if they go sample other radio stations, online, by satellite or broadcast. You'll never find another KSEX.
“They (Playboy) welcome our hosts all the time for cross-promotion and we welcome theirs,” he continued. “It's the way it should be. Some other adult industry companies should learn to think the same way. They'd probably be more successful."
He isn’t exactly worried about how the conversation will go on Nightcalls, either. “I don’t need to be prepped for an interview,” said the former Transformers voice actor and keyboardsman for the Platters. “I do this everyday. Hit me with anything. The less I know in advance, the better I’ll be on the show.”
Meanwhile, Daisy has been doing some girl/girl shooting lately, including a recent Metro Interactive project directed by Ann Marie and a scene in Sexual Frequency, the latter a joint Adam & Eve/KSEX DVD project. She also co-hosts shows with such adult stars as Keri Windsor, Kendra Jade, and Kylie Ireland.
Nightcallsbegins at 4 p.m. PDT. After that, you can hear Wankus and Daisy on The Wanker Show on KSEX, at 7 p.m. PDT with special guest Heather Lyn.
