Kick Ass Pictures has completed a distribution deal with English gonzo director Ben Dover and will release his first new title in over a year this fall.
Kick Ass Pictures President Mark Kulkis said he would make Dover's new work a series instead of releasing independent titles. The first release will be Ben Dover's Kick Ass Anal Adventures.
"I've always been a fan of Ben Dover," Kulkis told AVN.com. "I watched the first two tapes that I'll be putting out and I thought they were as good or better as any stuff he's ever put out. His unique talent is that he's so charming and funny and witty, and you got that combined with some really good, hardcore sex."
Kulkis said Dover's material includes all the nasty staples such as d.p.'s and ass-to-mouth.
"The girls are always into it in his movies so there's a sense of fun to each scene," Kulkis said. "And these are girls you've never seen before."
The deal with Dover is a first for Kick Ass, which has focused on its own distribution since ceasing its distribution deal with Hustler.
"I'm selective and I've been approached many times in the past, but I haven't taken them up on it," Kulkis said.
Kick Ass has secured the worldwide distribution rights with the exception of the U.K. Kulkis said the plan is to release a new Dover title every two months.
Dover's previous U.S. distributor was VCA Pictures, which released about 20 of Dover's gonzo adventures. But Dover has not released anything in the U.S. since Hustler completed its acquisition of VCA a year ago.
