Finnish porn star Karina has been enlisted by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to help raise awareness of animal rights issues in a series of promotions around Independence Day.
While Karina has been a member of PETA for four years, she began lending her name and her body just this year. Her participation in the PETA Valentine's Day "Fur Out, Love In" nude protest on Rodeo Drive this year helped garner the animal rights organization worldwide media attention for their cause.
This time around, Karina will be wearing a skimpy stars-and-stripes bikini while passing out veggie hot dogs at PETA demonstrations on the East Coast.
"I love PETA's style," Karina said. "They aren't afraid to use a sexy way to send a serious message."
Karina will be appearing at the Old North Church in Boston on July 1 at noon, followed by an appearance at the State Capitol in Providence, R.I., at the same time the following day. On the third day of her PETA protest tour, Karina will appear at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pa.
Karina previously told AVN.com that she supported PETA because, "It's not humane and it's not even necessary to harm animals just for their fur. We have a choice of how we use our bodies, animals don't."
