Jupiter Hosting today announced the launch of managed hosting service availability in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Service availability will allow customers up to 10 gigabits (10,000 megabits) of immediate on-Net capacity to Central Europe’s largest backbones with the capacity to scale up to and beyond 100Gbps.
Both new and existing U.S.-based customers and European clients can take advantage of the new service.
“This is something that customers have been asking for, and it’s the right time for Jupiter to move into the European market,” says Kevin Croy, senior vice president of business development for Jupiter. “Amsterdam is where we are starting.” Croy is on his way to online adult conference Webmaster Access Europe.
The new service location will offer new Dell-dedicated server leasing to customer specifications, managed storage, 15 terabytes available (with more to come), managed load balancing, managed data-backup services, free email services, agent-based system monitoring and problem reporting, real-time bandwidth utilization statistics, and 24/7 email and telephone support.
“Our customers expect more than a server and an IP address. By providing a range of a la carte managed services in Europe, customers can work with us to design a cost-effective solution with individually unique infrastructure requirements,” says Ray Taft, president and chief executive officer.
More than 10,000 Internet properties call the four-year old hosting company home.
