Joy Ride Entertainment Launches

Vernill Mills has launched Joy Ride Entertainment, which is specializing in black product and will release its first title on Jan. 31.

Mills’ adult experience includes three years as sales manager for West Coast Productions.

“The thing I want to do is shoot really good, black product and along with that I don’t want to leave interracial lines in the dust,” Mills told AVN.com. “I plan on doing one or two interracial lines as well. Basically, that was kind of where I came from at West Coast. When I was there, all that stuff was absorbed through osmosis, even though I worked as a sales manager and I wasn’t really involved, I knew what was going on. In addition to producing quality black product, we’re also all about customer service.”

Mills left West Coast Productions in late July, and after considering some offers he decided that he wanted to start his own company.

"I’ve always been told, to move up in this world you have to move on,” he said. "… I never thought I'd ever leave WCP, I thought the job I was doing was good enough to keep me there for many years. But I realize that it was a business decision and nothing personal. I still have great respect for what WCP is doing and I wish them immense success in their future endeavors. I feel like WCP was the perfect schooling for me to graduate to an owner, because I saw what worked and what didn’t work for one of the best companies in the industry for a solid three years.

“Now it’s up to me to restructure the blueprint to what I think will work best for my company. I know the road ahead will not be easy, but I’m ready for the challenge and in this game to win.”

Joy Ride Entertainment plans to release its first title, ASStrology, on Jan. 31. Mills described ASStrology, which was directed by Bishop, as an all-black gonzo video with emphasis on girls with big butts.

“And a cool astrology theme that flows throughout the movie,” he added.

It stars Havana Ginger, Jada Fire, Victoria Allure, Shyla and Beauty.

“I handpicked these girls,” Mills continued. “I figured they’d really be able to a pack a punch in an all-black, big butt picture.”

The guys in ASStrology are Jean Claude, Weed, Brock Adams, Nat Turner and L.T.

Joy Ride Entertainment then will release two videos in February and plans to go full speed with four-to-five new releases per month by March.
