John Wayne Bobbitt is Not a Crook...Sort Of

Dennis Hoff of the Bunny Ranch sets the record straight about rumors that John Wayne Bobbitt made off with about $150,000 g's of the Ranch's money. Hoff also addresses some confusion being generated by agents going around the video companies claiming to represent the Bunny Ranch, trying to book contract starlets.

Hoff: "I've been here this week. Larry Flynt had a party [last Saturday] at his house as a celebration party. Al Goldstein, myself and all these attorneys were over there. It was fun. Somebody told me that there's a guy out of Sacramento who's been trying to book girls into the Bunny Ranch. I think it was Suzy Suzuki's husband who told me that. I told him to get a number for me. I don't know who this guy is, even. Girls can go through agents. If an agent calls and says I have a girl that wants to come work with you, we'll work with him. They can just call the ranch directly. I don't know who these guys are, but there are guys that have called and booked people. I don't know what the deal is."

Regarding Bobbit, and the rumor that he absconded with funds, Hoff has this to say:

Hoff: "Absolutely not. What he did was he worked for us. He was going out with a girl [in an adjoining town]. He started having sex with this girl, and he talked her into stealing clothes out of this clothing store chain. About $150,000 worth of clothes were missing."

To make a long story short, Bobbitt got arrested for his part in the hot clothing ring in December. Hoff bailed him out to the tune of $10,000.

Hoff: "So life is beautiful and we're going along fine. Then, he [Bobbitt] decided he wanted to have a big birthday party. [The end of March.] So we get 700 people there and he doesn't show up. He's afraid that the bailbondsmen were going to come get him because word was out that we was going to leave the country. Now the bailbondsmen are after him, so Bobbitt ended up going to Niagara Falls. He was a fugitive for a time, but he showed for his preliminary hearing which was a couple of weeks ago. At the preliminary hearing, he plead guilty. It looks like he's going to get 1 to 5 in the Nevada State Prison. This guy's just trouble. He went off half-cocked, again. He's just an idiot. It's such a shame. He had such a good deal with us, he was making good money and now that he's plead guilty in this thing they're not going to let him work in a brothel. The only thing is, I was on the line for the $10,000. I thought I was going to have to pay that, but he showed up for court which got me off the bond.

"Terry Weigel is knocking 'em dead [at the Bunny Ranch]. She's got the whole world calling her. In fact, Al Goldstein is coming up to party with her Saturday. She's beautiful, she's fun. She's having the time of her life, and she likes it so much she's talking about buying a place up there and basing herself out of Carson City/Lake Tahoe. But we expected that. She's a fun, attractive girl and has a lot of fans. But that's what this XXX fantasy camp is all about - it's the fans being able to interface with the girls on a higher sexual level. It's been tremendously successful. [Weigel will be there at the Bunny Ranch through June 1.]

"Sunset Thomas' house burnt down. She started getting problems when she was at the Ranch the last time in March. The sheriff, in this little tiny bible belt town in south Texas decided to have an anti-porn week, and it was basically aimed at her. That was the feeling. Then she started to get some threats in the mail, her kid was getting a hard time. After she left the ranch she was in New York to do an appearance. The Health & Human Resources people came to her house. Someone had reported that she had abandoned her child. In reality the child was with Zack her husband. She didn't abandon him to anything. So she was in New York, and Zack goes to New York three or four days later, and when they were in New York, somebody bombed their house - this 8,000 square foot house was totally demolished. Absolutely gone. All she's got is this piece of land, 223 acres and horses out there. It's an interesting story. Obviously, the bible belt people didn't like having a porn star in their neighborhood. She had a big sprawling ranch there.

{Sunset Thomas give all the details in tomorrow's posting.]

WORK COMP FOR TALENT TO BE AVAILABLE JUNE 1ST., ALONG WITH CHANGE IN INSURANCE PLANS.

Greg Zeboray, the former FSC Insurance Coordinator announces the availability of PC Cast & Crew effective June 1, 1999.

PC Cast & Crew, a wholly owned subsidiary of PC Payroll Services, and based in Oceanside California, will enable producers / directors to hire talent and crew with workers compensation insurance. For a small fee (3% of gross payroll), plus expenses, producers / directors will have the peace of mind that their employees are covered with work comp, thus relieving them of that liability, says Zeboray.

Additionally, PC Cast & Crew has assumed the Maxicare and Delta insurance plans formally offered through the Free Speech Coalition (FSC), and, thanks to a partnership with Russ Hampshire, has purchased a production insurance package identical to the one formally offered through the FSC. There will be no change in any of the insurance programs, from coverage to price, with the exception of FSC membership, which is no longer required to participate. However, I remain a supporter of the FSC, and strongly hope everyone remains a member. I know I will, says Zeboray.

"The production insurance remains the only real as needed insurance available today. I have heard that people pay $200 to $300 per day to use another's insurance: well for around the same price you can buy legitimate insurance - in your name, and remember, FSC membership is not required. If you can buy your own, say auto insurance, for $100 per month, or pay someone to use their insurance for $100 per month, what would you do?

"Don't pay to use another's insurance again until you have talked to me," says Zeboray. There are no upfront or hidden cost associated with this plan, the coverages include everything from third party PD (locations) to equipment rental and permit filings. The number of shooting days and certificates needed has no effect on the cost, and you will have insurance with your name on it.

"Serving the adult industry has been a great experience, and we look forward to continuing our rapid growth within this community. Greg Zeboray Insurance and PC Cast & Crew are fully committed to making everyone's life a little better, easier, and more professional."
