Joe Gallant's Ave. X to Premiere in NYC

Manhattan's Pioneer Theater will show an advance screening of New York City-based director Joe Gallant's new politically-charged VCA feature, Ave. X, on Friday. The Manhattan Pioneer Theatre is located on 3rd St. at Ave. A in New York. Doors are set to open at 9 p.m.

"Ave. X is a hardcore political porn flick, tackling issues of surveillance, mind control and black-ops run amok, within a sci-fi/experimental film feature,” Gallant told AVN.com.

The veteran director explained that the title is set in New York in the year 2010, and “most of its surveillance-tech aspects are a reflection of what's occurring now, nationwide.”

Shot in the Mojave Desert, NYC and downtown Los Angeles, Ave. X is a project that Gallant is calling his “most ambitious work so far.” The title features cameo performances by AVN Hall of Famer Rick Savage and NYC underground director Nick Zedd.

Zedd's previous releases, Lord of The Cockrings and Electra Elf, will also be shown, following the Ave. X premiere.

"It's unlike any porn film I've ever seen,” said Richard Sankey, director of marketing for VCA.

Ave. X is slated for a November release by VCA, and stars Kimberly Kane in her first anal/atm scene, along with Veronica Jett, Trina Michaels and Alex Sanders, among others.
