BOSTON—Wasteland.com, the BDSM and fetish entertainment studio, is set to launch a new content initiative this year spearheaded by industry veteran Joe Evans, who also serves as the company's business development director, and will now step into the lead creative role.
Wasteland.com has long been known as the destination for authentic portrayals of alternative sexuality, fetish content and BDSM cinema. With this new project, the company aims to expand its offerings by adding a fresh take on storytelling, erotic aesthetics and sexual exploration.
“I’m excited and honored to begin this next chapter with Wasteland,” Evans said. “I’ve got some very lofty goals, and I’m fortunate to have the support of an incredible team, including a mentor who’s taught me what it means to create content that’s arousing enough to satisfy the most discerning viewers, while being marketable enough to be economically viable. This new content is based on a lifetime of ideas our members will connect with while we continue to expand our target audience over time.”
Evans will be producing a series of new scenes as well as a full-length signature feature that pays homage to the vision and legacy of Colin Rowntree, Wasteland’s award-winning founder and CEO.
“I’m very confident Joe will bring a new feel, perspective, and fresh ideas that the Wasteland audience will love,” offered Rowntree. “He’s been deeply involved in the evolution of our brand for years, and I trust his creative instincts completely.”
The new content rollout will focus on character development, fetish exploration and visuals that align with Wasteland’s commitment to quality authenticity.
Previews and behind-the-scenes updates are coming soon, with the first releases scheduled to drop mid-year.
