Jill Kelly Productions will be offering a line of harder-edged European fare to complement its already established Bizarre, Gwenmedia and Jill Kelly Production titles. The studio announced yesterday that it has signed an exclusive agreement with a European based adult entertainment film production company to co-produce and distribute the series of more explicit and graphic adult films under a new brand name to be announced shortly.
The contract calls for the production of 52 new adult entertainment titles per year. These films will be significantly more sexually graphic and adventurous than the company's well-known core Jill Kelly line. Shooting on the new series began this July and the first twelve films are expected to be completed this summer. Beginning in the fourth quarter Jill Kelly Productions plans to release one title from the new line weekly, in addition to its Bizarre, Gwenmedia and Jill Kelly Productions titles.
The new agreement calls for an equal sharing of shooting costs, and for the European partner to oversee production and cover all post-production and packaging expenses. Jill Kelly Productions will have U.S. distribution rights of VHS, DVD, and Internet streaming, while its partner will have the same rights in Europe and DVD rights other than North America worldwide.
"This agreement allows us both to produce first-rate adult entertainment films while dramatically controlling costs and risks. It also builds the presence of the new line in worldwide geographic markets," Robert Friedland, Chairman & CEO of Jill Kelly Productions, said in a statement, adding, "We look forward to reporting on future developments."
