Yeah, it’s another board, but thankfully it’s not another adult webmaster board.
JFT Media has launched the Porn Board, a chat board with industry news, movie reviews, and even porn star chat aimed at both the straight and gay markets. The company sees it as a way for the industry to promote directly to the fans.
“The board has been developed to offer an online community where fans of porn can voice their opinions on the latest releases but also interact directly with porn stars. JFT sees the porn industry as a global community and wanted to reflect this on the site—we didn’t want to create a site that was solely aimed at the UK, we want everyone to use it.
The inclusion of the gay porn board also opens it up to more areas of the industry,” JFT spokeswoman Carolyn Saunders tells AVNOnline.com.
The board is divided into sections: Pure Porn, Shopping, General Chat, and Adult Links. Within Pure Porn, for instance, users can read and/or comment on industry news, read/write movie reviews, and talk to actual porn stars. In the shopping section, users can talk about and rate adult merchants.
“The reaction to the board has been really great—people like the design and international feel to it,” Saunders says.
