Jenna’s Provocateur, the directorial debut of Jenna Jameson, is experiencing a strong early response to its initial release last week. The Club Jenna production stars all six Club Jenna girls and has an unprecedented six different box cover designs for the two-disc set.
Jameson shot the movie on film, another first for Club Jenna, which is owned by Jameson.
“This is the best movie set ever released by Club Jenna,” said Jay Grdina, Club Jenna CEO. “Jenna had a vision for a new type of film and it turned out to be sensational. I predict it will be a classic."
According to Vivid, Club Jenna's distributor, 20,000 units moved in week one. Pulse Distribution distributes all Vivid product.
In the movie, Jameson directs 2006 AVN Best New Starlet, McKenzie Lee, Jesse Capelli, Ashton Moore, Sophia Rossi, Chanel St. James and former Club Jenna star Krystal Steal. Jameson, meanwhile, appears in some never-before-seen footage.
Club Jenna opted for six different covers to feature all the girls. Each movie features more bonus materials and footage with the girl who is on the cover, as well as commentary by Jameson. The movie is mastered in HD and also features original costumes designed by Jameson and wardrobe specialist September Dawn, who also heads Exotic Star Models, as well as an original music score from Spout.
“Provocateur was a huge undertaking for us and we’re extremely pleased that the response, both from retailers and fans, has been phenomenal!” Grdina said.
