Jackson, a guitar manufacturer, has found the solution for the music industry’s woes – hire Jenna Jameson as the lead guitar player for every band. The band’s publicity photo alone would be enough for at least a gold album.
Jackson had Jameson pose on their website for a series of photos designed to promote the new Jackson clothing line, accessories and even a skateboard.
Wearing variations of halter-tops and thong and bikini designs, Jameson hoists a Jackson guitar in each of the photos, looking like she is just three chords away from adding a platinum album to her already impressive list of accolades
“I’ve always loved the sound of a Jackson guitar and so I’m thrilled to be helping to market their clothing and accessories store,” said Jameson. “It’s even more exciting because Jackson is based here in Scottsdale where I live and it’s a terrific company.”
Jameson also appears in the most recent Jackson printed catalog, which features a pullout poster of her with a Jackson guitar.
The company is so impressed with Jameson’s draw as a spokesperson that it is working on a separate line of co-branded merchandise.
And Jameson’s no stranger to the music industry – besides having been featured in videos by Eminem and Korn, having appeared on several VH1 programs, she has appeared on the cover of Guitar World’s catalog and profiled in various music magazines.
Now if Jameson can only find a way to monetize music on P2P systems…..
