Jameson Becomes Spokesperson for Erotica LA

Erotica Los Angeles (ELA) has announced that Jenna Jameson will be an official spokesperson for the ninth-annual event in June.

Jameson’s book, “How To Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale,” was on the New York Times Bestseller List for 16 weeks. As a show spokesperson, she will be on-hand each day at the convention to meet with the attendees.

“I am very excited about this opportunity to represent ELA for the first time,” Jameson said. “I believe that conventions like ELA are a major part of this new, open attitude to embrace all the incredible things available to enhance one’s sex life. The key to a successful business is also listening to your customers and fans. These events provide me the opportunity to personally meet many of my fans who offer their support, ideas and comments about my products.”

Jameson is also CEO of ClubJenna, Inc., a fast growing Internet management, production and licensing company. Her production company has an output deal with industry leader Vivid Entertainment Group.

“We are very proud and honored to have Jenna Jameson take on this important role for ELA,” Chad Beecher, vice president of marketing & operations for ELA, said. “Her appeal to the mass audience, as well as her business knowledge is sure to entice many more attendees. Jenna can also teach many women to get in touch with their own personal female power – which is sure to result in even more female attendees this year.”

This year ELA has expanded into a third convention hall, creating one giant entertainment and shopping mega-plex that will feature three interconnected marketplaces. These marketplaces will be defined by genre or product, making it easier for attendees to understand the show layout and give them the ability to map out areas that will be of particular interest to them. The convention is estimated to fill more than 250,000 square feet with intimate shopping and culture, as well as play host to 40,000 consumers and over 275 vendors. It will run June 10-12 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Last year, women and men enjoyed exploring the products of more than 200 merchants including Romantix, Red Light District, Forplay, Lifestyles, Wicked Pictures, West Coast Customs, Real Doll and Syren. Professionally choreographed stage shows such as lingerie and fashion shows, burlesque dancers, Erotica LA’s own version of Cirque du Soleil, Cirque D’Erotica, and an all-male revue also entertained audiences. This year, attendees can expect more stage shows with the addition of a second entertainment stage.

The romantic section will feature lingerie and sexy attire fashion shows, while the “X” section will feature racier shows including fashion, exotic dancer revues and more.

Erotica LA is world renowned for introducing new products, services and concepts in the world of romantic, sensual and erotic entertainment. Over the past decade, sensuous entertainment has become more accessible to the public and the headlining industry has become the consistent subject of mainstream network and cable shows. Erotica LA is one of the first conventions to take this mainstream entertainment directly to the consumer.
