James Avalon Working on <I>Skin on Skin</I>

Even though the exclusive contract that Metro had with multiple AVN Award-winning director James Avalon expired last month, he's still shooting high-end features for them.

Avalon is currently in the middle of editing Skin on Skin, which he describes as "a really novel avant-garde fetish theme, a plotless visual feast."

Avalon utilized shots and editing techniques that aren't seen often in adult to create a non-linear flow. "Erotica actually lends itself to non-linear storytelling. It's almost anti-storytelling," he said.

In Skin on Skin Metro contract-performer Ann Marie plays a director who is trying to make the perfect scene. She's joined by Anna Belle, Marey Carey, Gen Padova, Avy Scott, Monique Alexander, Gen Padova and Holly Hollywood

Skin on Skin will be released in the fall

Avalon had been under contract with Metro since 1998. During his tenure there, he directed noveaux classics such as Justine's Daughter and the original Les Vampyres, which earned five AVN Awards, including Best Director, Best All Girl Scene - Film and Best Group Sex Scene Film.
