IwantU.com Releases Version 7.0

Adult personals site IwantU.com has released Version 7.0 of their dating site, unveiling a new design and improved navigation and functionality.

With a nod to not messing with a good thing, the changes aren’t radical, but have nonetheless shown the desired results.

“The enhanced design is showing significantly improved conversions so far for both free and paid members,” director of operations Keith Bussey told AVNOnline.com. “We didn’t want to completely shock the existing members so we tried to keep things similar, only tweaking them here and there.”

The company has made site navigation smoother by eliminating breaks in navigation flow, as well as adding a status bar. The status bar offers members quick notification, alerts and links to site features such as live web cams, their IwantU mailbox and instant messaging.

Some of the biggest changes in this release are actually invisible to the user – backend modifications that will facilitate new features anticipated for the upcoming months.

“Most changes were 99 percent structural and design, but now it allows us to add a ton of new features in the coming weeks and months, including, but not limited to multiple languages, specific versions for different browsers and resolutions, niche sites, SMS and GPS cell phone features and PrivateCall technology. My list of planned features and upgrades already exceeds 400 items and will easily take us through to 2006. From a more technical standpoint, our site is now scalable to 100 million users. I think it will be a great day if we ever have to worry about re-working our structure to allow for more users than that,” Bussey said.

IwantU boasts a roster of more than 4 million members, with close to 1.2 million of them being active.
