year-old virgins who were going to show all and do all on the Internet on Aug. 4. On Tuesday (July 21), they fessed up at a news conference in a Los Angeles condom store.\n Mike is really Ty Taylor, 23, an unemployed actor from Alabama. Diane, who wouldn't give her age, is Michelle Parma from Texas with modest acting credits. Both of them claimed that the charade was for a noble cause--abstinence and safe sex.\n "It was going to be the biggest public service announcement ever," Parma said. "This was about making a moral lesson," Taylor said.\n Parma said the idea was to go beyond public service announcements in urging young people to wear condoms. The idea, however, crashed on the runway well before takeoff.\n Internet Entertainment Group of Seattle declined Friday to host the Website. The company said it had discovered that the Internet Virgin plan was a hoax in which viewers were to have been charged $5 and then not see any sex.\n The idea for the hoax appeared to be that of Ken Tipton, a movie producer who attended the press conference. Tipton, however, preferred to call it "an Internet soap opera." He said he never intended to lie or make money, although he used the alias of Oscar Wells in press releases.\n As for Taylor and Parma, don't run out to Blockbuster to look for their videos. Taylor has had some work as an extra. Parma made a brief appearance on "Road Rules" on MTV but has put in far more time as a waitress than an actress.
