1999’s AVN Female Performer of the Year Inari Vachs appears in Doghouse Digital’s new series Fresh Phat Ass – but only to conduct interviews.
Vachs, who has retired from performing, directs Fresh Phat Ass, which debuted this week. Vachs shoots scenes for the series entirely in Costa Rica, where she has maintained a second residence for over a year.
As the only America director with a semi-permanent residence in Costa Rica, Vachs has a virtual monopoly on the talent in the area.
“I think we’re the first people to shoot down there in a while. She has all these brand new girls. She’s started to break open the industry down there,” Doghouse Digital’s Jon Blitt, in Chatsworth on a business trip, told AVN.com.
Fresh faces are considered a powerful marketing tool in Adult, where women are paid a premium for performing their first scene, their first anal, their first d.p., and so on.
The first volume of Fresh Phat Ass contains six scenes, all shot outdoors. “I think their lighting system blew out the first day so they had to shoot everything outdoors to take advantage of natural light which turned out even better because Costa Rica has a very beautiful, exotic landscape,” Blitt said.
Vachs appears camera in Fresh Phat Ass – but only to conduct interviews. “She speaks a little Spanish. Not a lot, but enough to get by,” Blitt reports.
Vachs still maintains a residence in Southern California as well, splitting her time between the United States and Costa Rica.
Doghouse Digital intends to release at least one volume of Fresh Phat Ass a quarter.
