HOLLYWOOD — Adam & Eve and SugarDVD will co-sponsor a release party for Carlos Batts' Young Hollywood, the second release from A&E's Independent Adult Cinema line, on Wednesday, March 19, in Hollywood.
The festivities will be held at Safari Sam's, 5214 W. Sunset Blvd., between Western and Normandie, from 8 p.m. to midnight, with an open bar from 8 to 9. Guests will receive a soundtrack CD from the movie.
"We're not only promoting the movie, which is beautifully shot," said Peter Reynolds, A&E's vice-president of sales and marketing, "we're also promoting the fact that the soundtrack is very cool."
Five of the soundtrack bands will perform music from the title at the party: Renfield, Mudluscious, The Word Pimpstress featuring Fellatia & the Gimp, Dirt & Bank and DJ Ice.
Young Hollywood is the first full hardcore project from photographer Batts, whose mostly softcore Voluptuous Life was released by Adam & Eve late last year on its Bad Seed imprint.
The movie stars Kimberly Kane, with Ashley Blue, Adrianna Nicole and Lindsey Meadows.
