Howard Levine, national sales manager for Vivid Entertainment Group, said he received a welcome surprise Friday. It turns out that in Vivid’s new Club Jenna release Steal Runway, starring CJ exclusive Krystal Steal, there is an uncredited bonus scene on the DVD featuring Steal and Jenna Jameson.
Levine reported the title had already received strong interest just based on Steal’s popularity without Jameson’s presence on the box cover. But now with Jameson appearing in a scene in the DVD extras, the stakes have been raised.
“It’s the first Club Jenna title without Jenna on the box, and we just started shipping,” Levine explained. “We told everybody there was no Jenna. We just wanted to see how it went, and we did over 8,000 {out the door}, unbelievable. But I found out today there is a bonus scene with Krystal and Jenna that is raw and rocking. So I wanted to say ‘thank you’ to everybody who ordered this title already and let them know there is a little surprise in there. I think it’s great that a lot of people bought it on the strength of Krystal anyway.”
In other Vivid news, Levine said that due to a consistent requests that Vivid will release Volumes 1-5 of its popular girl/girl series, Where the Boys Aren’t, on DVD for the first time in the coming weeks.
“Everybody asks for 1 through 5, and we’ve never released them on DVD,” he said. “We’re making them available at the Nice Price.”
Where the Boys Aren’t 1 and 2 will be released next week. The first one introduces former Vivid Girl Tori Welles and also features Barbara Dare and Fallon, whom Levine called “the original squirter.” The second volume includes Jamie Summers, Deidre Holland and Dare, among others. The releases will include all of Vivid's standard DVD extras.
Levine also said that Vivid's upcoming showcase for the Love Twins, Two Hot, featuring Vivid Girls Lacey and Lyndsey Love, is generating “unreal” interest.
“The fantasy every man has is not only two girls blowing him at one time, but twins blowing him at one time, and it is fucking here in this movie,” he continued. “I’m almost at a loss for words. … I think these girls are going to be huge.”
