Known more for its football teams and its cheese-head-wearing fans, the University of Wisconsin-Madison has been named by Playboy magazine as the nation’s top party school.
In its latest issue, hitting newsstands Friday, the magazine picked Wisconsin-Madison for its “books, babes and beer,” along for its notorious all-night parties and hookups.
The magazine says the school’s biggest events are its Halloween Party which attracts more than 100,000 people each year, along with its loud and sometimes riotous spring block party on campus.
The ranking comes after the Princeton Review also named the school its pick for its top party institution last year. Wisconsin-Madison officials were reportedly not amused by the honor.
