Adult film stars Jesse Jane and Carmen Luvana will begin a national promotional tour for Pirates with a radio station and in-store appearance today.
Jane and Luvana will be guests on “The Goodfellas” show on L.A’s Power 106 FM at 4 p.m. today. Then they will appear from 8 to 11 p.m. at the flagship Hustler Hollywood store at 8920 Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood to promote the movie, which was a co-production between Digital Playground and Adam & Eve.
Jane is under exclusive contract with Digital Playground and Luvana is exclusive with Adam & Eve.
After tonight’s appearances, the sexy pair will travel to San Diego for another appearance from 8 to 11 p.m. at the Hustler Hollywood store at 929 Sixth Ave.
Their promotional tour will continue next week with stops in Arizona and Colorado, followed by appearances in New York, Tampa, Fla., Spokane, Wash., Seattle and Alaska to name just some of the destinations.
Pirates premiered on the big screen on Sept. 12 at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, drawing a large media contingent from both adult and mainstream. This tour marks the next step.
“I think this is more for the fans,” said Digital Playground publicist Adella O’Neal. “The premiere was for the cast and crew and for the industry. It was for the people that worked so hard on the movie and the people we work with all year around. Whether we’re competitors or not, we’re all in this together.”
O’Neal continued, “We’re doing radio in all the states and all their fans will get a chance to come out and meet them together. Two different contract stars, two of the most beautiful, demanded girls in the industry will be together signing all over the nation.”
She said that meeting the girls only enhances fans’ viewing experience.
“It makes the movie a little more personal,” O’Neal said. “When they’re watching it, they’re better able to relate to what’s going on. It gives them a deeper feeling of intimacy when they can meet them in person. It’s also a way to support our distributors. We can go out to the stores and thank the distributors for their business all year around.”
The street date for Pirates is Monday, but fans will be able to purchase the DVD at the starlets’ appearances today and Saturday.
The girls will also be signing free, full-size movie posters.
